This is a low voltage chandelier; each individual pendant is an articulated cast glass sphere with a frosted cylindrical void that houses either a 10 watt xenon or 1.5 watt LED lamp.
Popular residential and commercial applications include hanging above dining and kitchen tables, restaurants and bars, accessory lighting for living rooms, stairwells, foyers and lobbies, and tiling multiple chandeliers to create large configurations.
The 14.36 comes standard with a white powder coated canopy. The shape is either a square canopy, which is 29.7” (755mm) long, 29.7” (755mm) wide and 2” (53mm) deep; a round canopy, which is 29.7” (755mm) in diameter and 2” (53mm) deep; or a rectangle canopy, which is 43.3” (1100mm) long, 14.6” (370mm) wide and 2” (53mm) deep. The canopy is surface mounted and does not fasten directly to a junction box.
The 14.36 uses headphone jack connections, which allow the pendants to be “plugged in” to the canopy for ease and speed of installation. The custom pendant cascade is determined by the client through specifying the shortest and longest lengths at the time of ordering – lengths are not site adjustable. Cable lengths over the standard 10’ (3m) are available up to 120’ (36m) for special requests.
