Frequently Asked Questions
Are the pendant lengths adjustable?
You can adjust the lengths on the 14.1/3/5/7 whereas the 14.14/26/36 lengths are preset to your specifications.
How do I measure the heights for the 14.14/26/36:
From the underside of the canopy (which has a depth of 2” or 50mm) to the underside of the pendant (which is 4” or 100mm in diameter).
Can the pendants be larger/smaller than 4” in diameter?
All 14 pendants are 4”—but the 28 series pendants are larger if that is what you are after.
What do the chandeliers weigh?
You can find all the weights listed on our spec sheets in the downloads column to the left.
Is this a low voltage chandelier? If so, what is the voltage?
Yes, the voltage is 12V.
Are transformers included?
Yes.
How many pendants can you put on one transformer?
One Bocci transformer can power from 1 to 6 pendants (using 10Watt xenon lamps) and one LED driver powers from 1 to 40 pendants (using 1.5Watt LED lamps).
Are lamps included?

Not all my 14 pendants look exactly alike, is this normal?
Yes, each half sphere is hand poured and hand drilled thus making it different and unique from the rest. We celebrate this uniqueness at Bocci as this is a sign that yours is literally one of a kind.
What is the colour temperature of the LED?
Approximately 2900k
What are the canopy finishes?
The standard finish for the 14.1/3/5/7 is brushed nickel. The standard finish for the 14.14/26/36 is white powder coated mild steel.
My lamps keep flickering on and off, why is this happening?
Every complaint like this has been solved by replacing the existing halogen lamps with our xenon lamps. The filament in the xenon lamps is much heartier and does not fracture or break due to movements in the building. This is why we do not recommend or sell halogen lamps.
Why do you recommend remote mounting the transformers?
We recommend this for ease of maintenance down the line as transformers have a finite life.
Do your transformers hum or buzz?
No.
Are your transformers electronic or magnetic?
Electronic.
What are your lead times?
For all of our standard chandeliers our lead times are 1-3 days from receipt of payment in full. Our custom chandeliers have a lead time of approximately 3 weeks from receipt of signed shop drawings. Shop drawings are issued once we have a confirmed PO and 50% deposit. The remaining 50% is due prior to shipping.
Can I get a different canopy finish outside of the standard option?
Yes. We can custom powder coat to match RAL colour codes. We also offer a stainless steel canopy. Both of these options come with an up-charge.
Can the canopy be mounted flush with the ceiling?
Yes, you can order a custom mud-in canopy, which creates a seamless and flush finish.
