Inspired by the sporadic, in some ways discordant arrangement that barnacles make on a rock surface, the 21 pendants are made of thin sheets of raw white porcelain of varying size wrapped around frosted blown borosilicate glass diffusers. The result is a gentle contrast between diffused light passing through the frosted borosilicate glass cone on the interior of the pendant. The fabrication process ensures that every individual 21 pendant is completely unique from any other 21 pendant ever produced.
